Short version: the Gigaflush app has no telemetry, no analytics, and no account. Your file paths, project names, and scan results never leave your computer.
The app
- Scanning and cleanup run entirely on your device.
- Your last scanned folder, enabled cleanup types, and theme are saved locally on your device only.
- At most twice a day, the app asks GitHub's public API for the latest release number so it can tell you about updates. Like any web request, this exposes your IP address to GitHub. See GitHub's privacy statement.
- Links you click (download, source, support, tip jar) open in your browser.
Downloads and tips
Downloads are served by GitHub Releases. If you leave a tip, the platform you tip through (such as GitHub Sponsors) processes your payment under its own privacy policy, and we see only what it shares with sponsored maintainers.
This website
gigaflush.com has no analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies. Your theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. The download section asks GitHub's public API for the latest version number. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs.
