The software

Gigaflush is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. The GPL governs your use, modification, and redistribution of the code and of the builds published on GitHub Releases.

The Gigaflush name and logo are not licensed under the GPL. Modified versions you distribute must use a different name and icon.

Builds

Builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux are free and are built from the tagged source by GitHub Actions. They are not code-signed by Apple or Microsoft. Each release lists SHA-256 checksums so you can verify what you downloaded.

Tips

Tips are voluntary gifts to support development. They don't buy a license, features, support, or any other goods or services, and are handled under the terms of the platform you tip through.

Your files

Gigaflush permanently deletes the folders you confirm; it does not move them to the Trash. Review every path before removal and keep backups of anything you can't recreate. Recognized folders are normally regenerated by your package manager or build tool, but anything you stored inside them by hand will be lost.

No warranty

As stated in the GPL, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. To the same extent, we are not liable for data loss or other damages arising from its use.
